Brett Dorey carrer in cricket

Fought his way back from a torn quadricep muscle, suffered in the season-opening interstate four day competition fixture against New South Wales at the WACA Ground, to figure prominently in the Warriors’ campaign in the latter half of 2007-08. Took 20 wickets in five first-class matches at 24.90, including eight in the win against South Australia in Perth which gave him Man of the Match honours, and was the equal-leading wicket-taker for the Warriors in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash with nine at a respectable average of 20.44. One of the most lethal pacemen in the country when on song, he represented Australia in four one-day international matches during the 2005-06 season.
